SURVIVING GERMAN OCEANLINER ARTIFACTS

As the days of these beautiful ships now belong to our past we easily forget how they were of influence to our modern life. They pioneered and were cornerstones to everything we know now. Most of these ship, as close as 99.6% have now all been scrapped and are no longer with us. taking their legacies with them in their graves.Their beautiful decors and grand rooms, mostly built insitu, carrying ornate carvings were designed to take the breath from the travellers away, making them forget they were on board a ship mostly went down with them during their scrapping processes. But in some rare occasions it happened  elements were saved before dismantling the liner and in some even more rare occasions complete rooms were auctioned off and saved,
